Associate DevOps Architect

Responsibilities:

• Architect end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation strategies across multiple environments.
• Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native infrastructure (primarily on AWS) using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent IaC tools.
• Define and promote DevOps standards, tools, and frameworks across development, QA, and operations teams.
• Evaluate and integrate open-source tools and technologies to optimize infrastructure, security, and deployment processes.
• Provide technical leadership on orchestration and containerization strategies using Kubernetes, Docker, Mesos, or Swarm.
• Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, ensuring alignment with architectural best practices and business goals.
• Collaborate with software architects, developers, and stakeholders to align infrastructure and delivery strategies with application needs
• Ensure security, compliance, and scalability of the systems architecture
• Drive adoption of DevOps culture across the organization, focusing on automation, performance, and resilience
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and observability best practices using tools like Prometheus Grafana, ELK, etc.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience designing and implementing DevOps architecture at scale.
• Expertise with a wide range of open-source DevOps tools and frameworks.
• Strong hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud services, architecture patterns, and automation using  Python.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Bitbucket Pipelines, Github Actions, Jenkins, Spinnaker, or equivalent. Bitbucket Pipelines is preferable.
• Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration tools such as ECS, Kubernetes, Docker, Mesos, or Swarm. ECS is preferrable
• Proficient in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, Perl
• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, Amazon RDS, DynamoDB
• Solid understanding of Git-based source control systems like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
• Good Knowledge on Observability tools like Fluent bit, Fluentd, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Dynatrace and telemetry.
• Very good knowledge on Cloud Security and applying the cloud security policies/rules on the AWS Services.
• Good exposure on AWS Cost Optimization
• Good Knowledge on handling Disaster Recovery Scenarios.
• Sufficient Knowledge on CDNs and Networking Technologies.

Experience & Qualifications

• 08 – 11 Years of experience      
• BE/B. Tech/M. Tech/MCA
