Responsibilities:

We are looking for a hands-on Senior QA Engineer with strong experience in manual and automation testing, primarily for web applications. The role requires solid testing fundamentals, Playwright automation, functional and non-functional testing, and basic security testing exposure.

• Understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Derive effective test scenarios and test cases covering positive, negative, and edge cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, end-to-end, and exploratory testing.
• Build and maintain web automation scripts using Playwright.
• Validate RBAC, authentication, authorization, and user permissions.
• Perform basic security testing with awareness of OWASP Top 10.
• Support API and database validation where required.
• Identify, log, and track defects with clear impact and reproduction steps.
• Participate in defect triage, release validation, and regression cycles.
• Use AI tools for basic test case generation, test data creation, and edge-case identification.
• Apply spec-driven testing by deriving test coverage directly from requirements and specifications.

Must-Have Skills

• 5–8 years of QA experience.
• Strong manual testing experience.
• Hands-on automation using Playwright.
• Strong web application testing experience.
• Good understanding of functional and non-functional testing.
• Experience in test case design and requirement analysis.
• Knowledge of RBAC, authentication, and authorization testing.
• Basic understanding of OWASP and security testing.
• Exposure to API testing.
• Good debugging, defect reporting, and communication skills.

• Postman / API testing tools.
• SQL / database validation.
• CI/CD and Git exposure.
• Basic performance testing.
• AI-assisted testing exposure.
• Agile / Scrum experience.
