Job Description

We are looking for a SAP Functional Consultant with foundational to intermediate experience in Supply Chain Execution (SCE), Procurement (MM), and Plant Maintenance (PM).

The role involves supporting configuration, testing, and day-to-day production support, while working closely with business users and technical teams to ensure smooth functioning of SAP processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with implementation/support project experience looking to grow in SAP functional consulting.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 SAP Configuration & Functional Support

  • Assist in basic configuration activities across:
    • SAP MM – Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), Material Master Data
    • SAP PM – Maintenance Orders and basic maintenance processes
    • SCE / Logistics Execution – Exposure or working knowledge (preferred)
  • Support enhancements and changes aligned to business requirements

🔹 Production Support & Issue Resolution

  • Handle L2 / L3 support tickets and ensure timely resolution
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues related to MM, PM, and SCE modules
  • Analyze root causes and provide sustainable solutions

🔹 Testing & Documentation

  • Support testing cycles including:
    • Unit Testing
    • Integration Testing
    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Prepare and maintain functional documentation, test cases, and user guides

🔹 Client Interaction & Coordination

  • Participate in client calls for:
    • Status updates
    • Issue discussions
    • Requirement clarifications
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (functional & technical)

🔹 Continuous Improvement & Support

  • Identify opportunities to improve existing SAP processes
  • Assist in implementing minor enhancements and optimizations

Typical Day-to-Day Activities

  • Resolving production support tickets and issues
  • Attending client calls for updates and clarifications
  • Performing SAP configuration and minor enhancements
  • Supporting testing cycles and validations
  • Coordinating with technical teams for issue resolution
  • Reviewing and ensuring quality of deliverables

Key Skills & Experience

🔹 SAP Functional Knowledge (Mandatory)

  • Exposure to:
    • SAP MM (Procurement basics)
    • SAP PM (Maintenance basics)
    • SCE / Logistics Execution (good to have)
  • Understanding of:
    • Procurement lifecycle (PR to PO)
    • Maintenance processes in SAP

🔹 Project Experience

  • Minimum 1 SAP implementation or support project
  • Experience in handling production support environments

🔹 Technical & Functional Skills

  • Basic SAP configuration knowledge

Experience & Qualifications

  • 3 – 5 Years of experience        
  • BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA
