Connecting with Stories

However old one grows, the child in us remains forever. The storied event of ‘Youth For Seva’ NGO brought out the child in everyone involved and was a massive, resounding success involving thousands of volunteers and several hundred thousand children in just a span of three days. The event was organized on account of Youth for Seva’s decennial celebration. Our SenecaGlobal associates also brought out the child in them and connected with dozens of students in government schools through their story telling.

Complementing Classroom

SenecaGlobal has partnered with the India Literacy Project and through their Education for the Community project, has adopted a school that runs from class I to Class V. Associates go to the school every Saturday to help with classes with a specific focus on English language learning. We complement the efforts of the teachers in bringing quality education to these students.

Color to Curriculum

Volunteering opportunities are as vast as the need around us, and as diverse as our innovative thoughts are. Within the limitations of a tight scheduled work life, our associates creatively contribute to making the learning of the underprivileged better. We have signed up to preparing syllabus support material / presentations for primary classes with the India Literacy Project’s Multi-Dimensional Learning Space (MDLS) project.

Traffic Citizenship

SenecaGlobal associate Kalyan Penumutchu volunteers for traffic regulation through the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) every day – they are dedicated to doing it daily as if it were a natural pre-extension before the start of their work day. They come to the office, get down to the Kothaguda – Kondapur signal area, and manage the traffic every morning here at this junction, which is one of the busiest junctions in Hitec City – Gachibowli region.

Project Safe Stay

The Cyberabad Police Commissionerate in coordination with the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) launched the “Project Safe Stay”. Our associates are registered and trained volunteers of this unique socially inventive project that helps foster and facilitate the safety and security of the working women in the hostels, and ensure a good partnership in creating a nurturing environment for better business transactions in the IT corridor.

Margadarshaks for help

The objective of the Margadarshak program is to develop resources within every company who will guide women employees on the process of seeking basic police and legal support when required. SenecaGlobal nominates interested women associates to this program. These associates certified as a “Margadarshak” obtain formal training and certification by the Society for Cyberabad Security Council. Margadarshaks act as a bridge for women employees to reach out to the external company support forums, police and law enforcement contact points as appropriate.
